Meet the Founder
Dr. Marisol Ochoa Vasquez
Founder/Owner
Dr. Marisol O. Vasquez is a graduate of Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, where she earned both her Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration in Business Management/Healthcare. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio.
With over 37 years of experience in the business industry, including the last 17 years in healthcare, Dr. Vasquez brings a distinctive cross-industry perspective to leadership development and the advancement of women in business.
Her doctoral research, Corporate Leadership Development Programs: Closing the Leadership Gender Gap for Women Through Training and Development to Overcome Barriers, explores the experiences of women in business, the challenges they encounter in pursuing leadership roles, and the strategies they use to overcome those barriers. Driven by a passion for bridging the gender gap and empowering women to achieve leadership excellence, Dr. Vasquez offers fresh insights into how leadership development programs can inspire meaningful, lasting change.
Dr. Vasquez is also the founder of She Rises, Advancing Leadership (SRAL), a purpose-driven organization dedicated to empowering women and girls to become confident, capable leaders in their communities, careers, and beyond. SRAL fosters mentorship, confidence, resilience, and professional growth—grounded in the belief that leadership potential exists in every woman and girl.
Her mission is to create meaningful programs that cultivate leadership and mentorship while fostering community and connection through impactful events. With a focus on empowering women to rise, lead with confidence, and inspire positive change, she is dedicated to building pathways that help women realize their full leadership potential.
